Kenmore Dryer Heats & Won't Stop Spinning

My Kenmore Dryer will heat and spin forever if you don't manually open the door, or turn the knob to stop. The knob never moves once you press the start button on the dryer. Can anyone tell me what part I might need? Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a bad timer or timer motor.

Is this in timed dry or auto-dry or both? What is the model number?
