What effect does ambient temperature have on a refrigerator's ability to maintain a constant and or proper temp?

Say the fridge is sitting in a shop with a temp of 40 degrees.

Thanks

Thanks. As you know this one is getting too cold for the most part. It is either too cold or too warm, can't seem to find the sweet spot on the temp controller. It was looking pretty close yesterday. I may either put it in the back room of the house (heated) or just let it sit until spring.

I knew yawning was always contagious to me, but never knew the word would trigger a yawn. I yawned once when I saw there was a reply to this before I even opened it!

LOL! Crazy!
