I just bought a friends Range its less than 3 yrs. old. Broiler and Stove work great, but when I try to lite the burners they click..and make a good ark, but they wont lite. I can lite all 4 burners with a match, but the bigger burner wont adjust between flames always on low.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Make sure the caps are in place correctly. Make sure the slots/hols around the electrodes are clear and clean. Make sure the electrodes are not cracked. If all looks good, probably best to try a new spark module as the spark may be weak.

The stem valve controls the gas flow...

I finally got the burners to lite... but its random.. I think I need to replace the burner heads and caps. My larger front burner, only lites on one side, but when I raise the cap it lites all the way around, when I put it back down half goes out..

Make sure all the holes and slots are cleaned out.....and not with an SOS pad as that leaves soap crud in the holes and slots.
