Something worn/wearing out...often in the motor or indexing mechanics.
How significant is this sound?
If a light noise, I leave it along.....if really noticeable or considerably more noticeable than normal....should be dealt with as the timer is not healthy at all.

Kind of what I thought. I recently returned one to a guy I bought 4 from. He tried to tell me some just do that. The one in his house did it. I was not buying it. Heheh, I bought 5 units from him, 4 washers and one dryer. I had to take 3 washers back. Now he will not sell to me. Says he does not think I he has anything I'd want. I think he is probably right.
Anyway, I felt like this may work for a while, no way to tell how long.
Thanks
