Any way to patch an area in the enamel of a metal basket/tub (inner)? Epoxy of some sort?
After failing to get the tub out, I ended up parting this one out, but would like to know for future purposes.

Just a small spot? I'd use an epoxy paint to cover up the spot.
There use to be some good porcelain touch up kits...but most that I found are now NLA.

About fist sized. The edges felt just rough enough to maybe damage clothes.
I thought about appliance epoxy paint I use to paint appliances with, but was not sure about it being submerged in water so much.
That and the thickness of the edges of the remaining material plus my inability to remove the tub to change it, made me decide to part it out. Rusted drive block, spin tube, etc, wins another one! :(
