Ever repaint stove tops? If so, what with?

I use an appliance epoxy paint to paint washers and dryers , and maybe the sides and front of stoves, but not sure about using it on the tops of stoves. it is recommended not to use it in areas that may exceed 200 degrees.

Cooktops are normally a porcelain ( glass ) finish.
Maybe a high temp paint like a BBQ paint would last a while.
I have not repainted one, just small touch ups on marks or chips.

Thanks Jeff. I hate when I get one someone has tried to clean, and left scratch marks on the top and the control panel.

Not saying I have not done it too in the past.

Magic Eraser pads have done this for me. I learned to be careful with them!

If they where really "magic" they would take off the dirt and leave the words ;)
