Testing GE transmissions

Any simple way of testing these washer trans to see if the washer is worth buying a timer for?
Guess I would need a cheater cord for the motor?

Hey Rick,

Just manually turn the large pulley in the middle....one direction is agitation and other direction is spin.
If you want to actually run the motor, then yes a test cord would be needed.
