nice description of the process..I have a whirlpool ED25PQXFN01 that was failing to produce ice cubes. picked up a replacement unit ERP Exact Replacement for models 1129313 1129316 and RIM500. Replaced the unit, testing the ports on the front of unit when the new unit failed to dump or fill after 24 hours. The new device can be jumpered to work, but fails to do so automatically. checked testing ports on the device for power results: L-N = yes / T-H = yes / L-H =no / L-M=no / N-V =no. have i missed an obvious step somewhere? thanks. 764 (not sure if this attached or not...)

Hi,
that was failing to produce ice cubes
How?
Sitting there dead? Going through the motions but not filling? Stuck part way through a harvest?
The new device can be jumpered to work, but fails to do so automatically.
What is the freezer temp? Must get below 15?F to cycle the ice maker on.
checked testing ports on the device for power results: L-N = yes / T-H = yes / L-H =no / L-M=no / N-V =no.

L to N showed 110-120 volts AC? If yes, but the ice maker will not run on its' own.....either the freezer temp is too high or something is wrong with the ice maker.
