I have a GE Profile Washer PFWS4605L0MG that will no longer turn on. It started intermittently acting up after it was moved to a new location. Then finally just died. Outlet verified to have power so from what I have seen on blogs it points to the control board WH12X10469 (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=153&N=1811494).
Before I spend $300+ on the control board are there any tests that can be done at the control board connector to verify that it is getting power?
I have tried searching for a wiring diagram and a Technical Service Guide for the washer but have not been able to find either. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I have tried searching for a wiring diagram and a Technical Service Guide for the washer but have not been able to find either.
GE doesn't put diagrams or manuals online.
I tried to find something and came up empty as well.
PFWS4605L0MG
This is a newer style and I am not familiar enough with it yet to help much, sorry!

Just had GE Profile doing basically the same thing. A little older I guess. Anyway, I thought the problem was a bad thermistor on the blower housing. The problem turned out to be the belt switch that is closed by the idler bracket when the belt is installed.
I had eliminated the door switch before checking the belt switch.
Btw, this switch was a pain to remove for me considering the are only two screws that hold it on and would have been a simple job, if I had used the right tools.
Sorry, my mistake. It was a GE Profile dryer that was giving me the problem.

To make up for my goof, I did a little searching and found this is usually a bad door lock switch.

To make up for my goof, I did a little searching and found this is usually caused by a bed door lock switch.

Yupper, the OP has a washer and not a dryer.
