GE profile light won't come on. #TCX18PAADRBS

Hi,

THe light will no longer come on in the top portion of my #TCX18PAADRBS fridge. Tested the buld's in another fridge and they work fine. Unpluged the fridge for about 5 minutes and plugged it back in and still no lights. Tried to located the light switch but unless l'm going blind I cannot find one. It's pretty easy to find in the freezer but not to top part. I've heard about magnetic switches so I ran a magnet accross the frame but that didn't work either.

Any help is appreciated,

Hi,

Canadain model?

Yes this will have a magnet switch....switch is behind the center bar between the doors....magnet is inside the door liner.

Door may have dropped ( worn washers or hinges ) and is missing the switch now, bad switch, magnet moved inside the door....would have to be investigated.
