Can I use this timer, cc804, on this GE fridge, TFX26GRDA? If so, where does the black lead on the timer go? I had asked basically this same question about universal timers back in May I think, but I am confused. Not sure this thing is going to have a schematic in it to help me decide which terminal it goes on. I don't remember seeing one when cleaning it.
Thanks

cc804
That now subs to...
807 Defrost timer (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=153&N=1557914)
...The manufacturer has replaced part number cc804 with this item, part number UET120
1 and 3 should have the timer motor wires....put your black lead on 3.

The one I have is one I bought way back when that was never used. THat is why I was hoping it could be used if need be.
Anyway, does that one have the black wire coming out of it?
Don't think I am going to need a timer now, just curious.

Nope, they are fixed inside the timer.
Has adjustable defrost times...
