gas burner valve for ge profile model #jgp962bec1bb

I need a gas burner valve for my ge cooktop. The mfg. Part # is wb19t10006. I have been told by several sources the part is no longer available. This cooktop is only 10 years old. Is there any other valve that might work. Thanks, Jeff

Model# shows 4 different valves wb19t10006 wb19t10005 wb19t10004 wb19t10003

Some places say the wb19t10006 is NLA, some just show the part on back order.
Best to place the order with a reputable dealer and see what comes in in 7-10 days or so.

I spoke with ge customer service and they said the part was no longer available. I also spoke with one internet parts company who said it was not available. I really would like to know if there are any other valves that might work in place of it. a lot of the valves that are available look very similar and install in very similar manifolds. I really don't want to buy a new twelve hundred dollar stovetop just because one forty dollar gas valve is bad. thanks, Jeff

Perhaps if you called a local repair shop they might have a used one? Or maybe even a local retailer has an old stove they took in on a new sale.

There probably is....but there is no list or reference to what might work in it's place. Taking the valve in to local dealer and they may be able to match it to something else.....or some places will also rebuild the valves...
