Maytag MAV7600AWW - No Cold Water

My washer will put out hot and warm water, but no cold. I only get warm water on the cold settings.

I'm thinking I've got a bad temperature control board, but wanted to get opinions before I start spending money on parts. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I usually try a test cord directly on the cold 1/2 of the fill valve and plug the test cord directly into the wall outlet to make sure the cold 1/2 of the fill valve is ok.
If it is, yes you are correct the ATC board is normally toast then.

I'd thought of that, but if the cold water valve wasn't working I wouldn't have warm water, right?

Yes it should be working...but normally don't presumme to make sure...just in case.
