Jeff, what I can make out of this model number is R C548 looks like OW140. R c548 OW140.

I found c 548 2 and c 5483 (GE) on A1's site, but it does not show the door gasket part number. Can you help me out with this? I need a part number and info on how to replace it.
It shows a good exploded diagram of this stove, but has a very short list of part numbers.
Thanks.

Cause not much is still available.

Looks like this one...
381

I got...

382 Oven door gasket material Manufacturer Number WB2X2058 (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=153&N=248261)

This appears to be the kind pinched between the liner and front frame.

Yes it does. Is it just wedged in there? Best way to remove it? It wants to break apart when I pull on it.

Best way to reinstall? Putty knife?

Looks like I may have to scrap it out with a blade of some sort or maybe an awl.
Then again, maybe I should just scrap it out for some hard to find parts someone might need.

Thanks

Normally have to go to the back of the range and undo the screws holding the oven liner to the back of the range....and slide the liner forward to release the gasket.....new is installed on the edge and is pinched/held in palce when the liner is pushed back into place.
