takes forever to get to temp

That is often a sign of a weak ignitor. The current ( amp ) draw of the ignitor is taken with an amp meter, if low ( should be 3.2-3.6 amps ) the ignitor is replaced. If we don't have an amp meter we normally just replace the ignitor and retest.
