stains in freezer

How do you clean rust like stains on the inside (corners) of a 5.4 cubic feet freezer? Scrub pad only did so much.

I paint them.
I clean off what I can and then paint the area's.

That is what I had in mind. What kind of paint?

The outside is the textured finish. Can I use appliance epoxy on it?

Sure you can....something that dries fast is what I like to use.
