I was referred here to the guru Jeff for my "Canadian" issue http://www.ez-forums.com/images/icons/icon6.png
from appliance blog. com
Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Had the oven on and heard a pop sound and now nothing on the front controls work. The display reads "oc" and the numerical time display will only show 2 numbers ( ie 9:2 ) The cooktop surface still works though.
Model C970-445592
Hoping this is something I can fix myself ]
thanks
Rob

Hi,
Couldn't find much as most/many Canadian models are not online.
Does appear to be a clock issue as I found 1 reference to the oc as being a clock problem.
318198414 - Clock/Timer,EOC ,black ,with overlay
Comes up as $600.00+
I think you can buy a new range for that!?!

438Yikes! thats seems pretty steep, I was thinking control panel or just the board.
When I took it apart, all wires seemed to be connected , nothing looking burnt or anything.
Soooo in a new development, we came home yesterday to it beeping and "-F1" showing where numbers usually are and "coq" where the co was
Came home today, and now it is completely black and still no buttons work ( cook top is still functioning fine )
thanks
Rob
Does that info help

F0 & F1

F1

Replace control board
Doesn't sound any better :(
