    Can't seem to reach the screws. That or someone has changed them.

    You have the motor and pump off? Not much room to try with that in place between the pump and base.

    I did have it off. I measured the belt. It should be okay. Not sure about the belt debris that I saw. Maybe just wear over time. No way would I try to braze it unless I have it off the machine and the pump removed. I would have to have a heat sink at the motor itself before trying to braze. Just a thought.

    Those belts are bad for just exploding apart.
    If you keep the washer, replace the belt for better long term reliability.
