Question Kenmore Washer Won't Finish Cycle Without My Pen

I have a Kenmore Washer Model 110.20802991. Today it stopped after it filled with water after the wash cycle (did not drain). I used a pen to push the lid button down and it activated. I have to use that to push that peice down for it to complet the cycle. Completes it fine while I stand there with my finger or a pen pushing the switch down that the lid normally pushes down. Help?

    Hi,

Make sure the lid strike is ok and not broken/cracked. Failing that, some switches loose there ability to close normal and need to be replaced...

Thank you for the response and the video. I do think it's the switch. And thank you for the part referral as well!
