Cup-Drain fluid?

I have a Kenmore Elite upright freezer (mod #: 253.24092101).
Recently moved it and had to tilt it pretty far to get it through the doorway.
While tilting a thick dark substance cmae out of the the drain cup underneath the freezer. The substance has the smell and consistency of lightweight oil.

Wanted to know if the drain-cup reservoir should be refilled before using the freezer again or is this some time of run off from defrosting?
If is should be refilled, what do I re-fill it with?

The compressor system is a sealed system. No oil should be leaking out. It either came from some other place or the freezer is done for.

It the freezer working/cooling? If yes, won't be anything from the refrigeration system.
Likely is gookus that has collected in the defrost drain pan....#105



Don't fill it with anything. Defrost water collects there and the heat from the coil of hot tubing evaporates the water. Food bits, dust in the air get into the defrost water and can make a sludge, that is likely what you saw leak out when the freezer was tilted.

In the diagram from "jeff1"'s reply part #105 is exactly where the fluid came from. There is no evaporator pan like a fridge just this drain-cup.
The freezer was working well when I moved it and has been sitting upright since being moved.
I feel comfortable reconnecting knowing this fluid isn't required but more likely water that been sitting for a loooooong time.
