    Default Bleach dispenser hose

    KitchenAid
    Model - KAWE660W

Do these just pull through from inside the tub to the outside meaning the inner tub has to come out?

I don't believe that I have ever had to change one of those.....and the hose is showing as NLA now.

It does look like pulling it through the tank would be easier from the inside out...

Yeah not sure it could be forced from the outside in and not have a leak.

This one had a very slow seepage. I coated it with gasket shellack and I am letting it cure good before I check it again.

Leaking or slow at letting the bleach into the tub?
If leaking, a little bead of silicone should help.

It was seeping out just a very little which caused rust on that corner of the frame. If I hadn't noticed the rust on that part of the frame under the hose and run my finger across the hose inlet point, I would not never have known it was leaking.I had thought of silicone but didn't know if it would hold up. I don't really know about this shellack. It seems to dry pretty tough. After I applied the gasket shellack, I felt like I should have gone with the silicone since it would not have been submersed constantly.

Oh well, guess we will see.

The head gasket shellac seems to have made a very good seal.
